Testing is a bit tricky because there are two pins for the connector and they serve different purposes but the most effective method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. When the sensor is operational, it should read about 1000 ohms. If you're experiencing issues with this sensor, look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay.

2. Injectors

Yesterday accelerating full speed from highway paytoll, i experienced a big cut in power like the engine is out of gas or injectors are not firing any more. I took out the spark plugs this morning, three were drenched in gasoline and the 4th was dry. I put tissue over each hole in the injector and when I start the engine without sparks, the ones with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one remains closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55, 30/55 and 48/55. i get zero ohm. So i assume the problem is somewhere else.

I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it is running fine with the G28 plugged in. However the intermittent misfire issue continues to occur at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is zero.

I'm not certain what to do, i think i've pretty much completely ruled out all other possibilities. However, i'm afraid that I might have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump
